We’re excited to share our journey of creating our delicious wholesale roasted coffee. Dive into the art and science of roasting green coffee beans, explore our eco-friendly commercial coffee roaster, and enjoy a step-by-step guide through our entire coffee roasting process.

Our Commercial Coffee Roaster
The star of the coffee roasting process is our commercial coffee roaster, the Loring S35 Kestrel™. It’s an iconic machine for Loring and essential to our work, roasting green coffee beans to perfection. This high-quality, American-made machine is designed and built in Northern California, utilizing components manufactured here in the United States.
We also love the Loring S35 Kestrel™ because it enables us to roast batches of many different sizes – we offer custom roasts as small as 15 lbs, and large batch roasts of 77 lbs, so we can stay flexible for our customers. This high-quality commercial coffee roaster also allows us precise control over every roast, so you get the distinct flavors you expect every time.
Eco Coffee Roasting
Minimizing the greenhouse gases produced during the commercial coffee roasting process is a priority at Coffee Masters, so choosing an eco-friendly coffee roaster was an important decision for us. The Loring S35 Kestrel™ features a single burner, which means that the heat used to roast the coffee is repurposed to incinerate the smoke and pollutants. This is a much more eco-friendly method than using an afterburner; it not only helps protect the quality of local air, it also uses 80% less energy than a standard coffee roaster. If selling eco-friendly coffee is important to your store, we welcome you to get in touch to request more information about our eco coffee roasting process.

How to Roast Green Coffee Beans: Our Coffee Roasting Method
The green coffee beans start their journey by being dropped into our scaled, rolling green bean cart. At the bottom of the cart, the beans are then passed through a rare-earth magnet that identifies metallic objects, to protect your coffee and our commercial coffee roaster. While the beans are being vacuum-lifted into the hopper, a built-in cyclone filter collects the dust and debris from the burlap bags. The beans are then dropped from the hopper into the roasting chamber.

This convection roaster protects the natural flavors by allowing very little oxygen into the roast chamber and letting the clean, natural taste of the beans shine through. Three rotating paddles and agitators help move the beans around in a fixed drum while hot air is evenly dispersed. Each roast takes about 10-16 minutes to complete. The Roastmaster can view the beans through the glass and even take out a sample to make sure the beans are to their liking.

The coffee roasting process is complete! From here, we carefully bag your wholesale roasted coffee beans in the standard or private label packaging of your choice and send it to you to make your next customer’s day
